Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding psychologist since 1993, and the director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. Her name is widely recognized as the pioneer of modern studies of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and the role of children in witnessing. Professor Goodman is the author of a wide range of publications and many grants she is also the winner of a variety of international and national prizes. She has advised many administrations and agencies across the globe on policies and research relating to the treatment of children victims of the law by the system. She has been a consultant with the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center and was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional associations, including The Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology-Law Society Psychological Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). She was a founder member of the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the President of the American Psychological Association's three divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Family and Child Policies and Practice.
